CIT Program

13-14 years old

Our Counselor in Training (CIT) program is geared towards 13 to 14 years old. The CIT program provides a transition from children and campers to young teens and staff members.

The CITs will undergo 2 weeks of vigorous training regarding all the things mentioned above. They will then be placed with a group and paired with a counsellor in order for them to complete a 2-week stage.

***PLEASE NOTE that anyone who would like to register for this program must be available during the 2 weeks in order to apply***.

The CITs will be guided by the counselor, the CIT coordinator as well as the director. They will receive constant feedback and meetings regarding their performances and how they can adjust accordingly if need be.

Based off of the CIT’s evaluation is what will determine whether or not they will receive a 4-week contract to continue working at Supercamp for the remainder of the summer.

The 4-week extension is on a volunteer basis but is rewarded through a stipend.

***In order to receive their PAM/CIT certification they will need to complete the 2 weeks of training and 2 weeks of stage***

This program is for a total of only 15 teens.
